Welcome to Café Boardwalk.

Café Boardwalk is a public discussion forum for token economies launched through Boardwalk. It is a place to share updates, ask questions, discuss launches, discover resources, and connect with builders, contributors, growth teams, and community members.

By accessing or using Café Boardwalk, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the forum.

These terms apply only to Café Boardwalk. Other Boardwalk products, websites, applications, protocols, smart contracts, interfaces, or services may be governed by separate terms.

1. Who Can Use Café Boardwalk

You must be at least 13 years old to use Café Boardwalk.

You may not use Café Boardwalk if we have suspended, banned, or otherwise told you that you may not use the forum.

You are responsible for making sure your use of Café Boardwalk complies with the laws and regulations that apply to you.

2. Your Account

Some features of Café Boardwalk may require an account.

When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information and keep your email address up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, including your password and login credentials.

You are responsible for activity that happens through your account, whether or not you authorized it, unless you have notified us that your account has been compromised.

We may suspend, restrict, or close accounts that violate these terms, violate our community rules, create risk for other users, or harm Café Boardwalk.

3. Community Standards

Café Boardwalk is built for useful, good-faith discussion.

You agree not to post, upload, link to, or otherwise share content that:

  • Breaks the law
  • Harasses, threatens, abuses, or targets another person
  • Contains hateful, violent, sexually explicit, or otherwise harmful material
  • Impersonates another person, team, project, or organization
  • Misleads users about your identity, affiliation, role, or authority
  • Violates someone else’s intellectual property rights
  • Shares private, confidential, or personal information without permission
  • Contains malware, phishing links, malicious code, or suspicious files
  • Attempts to scam, deceive, exploit, or manipulate other users
  • Promotes spam, fake engagement, or coordinated manipulation
  • Encourages others to violate these terms

We may remove content, restrict access, suspend accounts, lock discussions, or take other moderation actions when we believe it is necessary to protect the community, Café Boardwalk, or Boardwalk.

4. No Wallet Support by Direct Message

Café Boardwalk admins and moderators will never DM you first to request wallet information, passwords, seed phrases, private keys, signatures, funds, tokens, or suspicious transactions.

You should never share seed phrases, private keys, passwords, or sensitive wallet information with anyone.

If someone claims to represent Café Boardwalk, Boardwalk, or a related community and asks for sensitive wallet information, treat it as suspicious and report it.

5. No Financial, Legal, Tax, or Investment Advice

Content on Café Boardwalk is for informational and discussion purposes only.

Nothing on Café Boardwalk is financial, legal, tax, accounting, investment, or trading advice. Nothing on Café Boardwalk is a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, launch, trade, or interact with any token, protocol, smart contract, product, market, or service.

You are responsible for your own decisions. Always do your own research and consult qualified professionals where appropriate.

6. Token and Onchain Discussions

Café Boardwalk may include discussions about token launches, token economies, smart contracts, liquidity, market activity, fees, auctions, communities, contributors, and other onchain topics.

You understand that blockchain, DeFi, crypto assets, and token markets involve risk. These risks may include smart contract bugs, market volatility, liquidity issues, loss of funds, regulatory uncertainty, operational failures, phishing, wallet compromise, and other risks.

Café Boardwalk does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, safety, legality, or usefulness of any token-related discussion, launch information, community claim, project update, or third-party resource shared by users.

7. User Content

You keep ownership of the content you post to Café Boardwalk.

By posting content on Café Boardwalk, you give Boardwalk and the operators of Café Boardwalk permission to host, display, copy, publish, distribute, moderate, archive, and analyze that content as needed to operate and improve the forum.

You are responsible for the content you post. You agree not to post content unless you have the right to share it.

We are not required to store, maintain, or provide copies of your content. We may remove or modify content when we believe it violates these terms, community rules, law, or the integrity of Café Boardwalk.

8. Third-Party Links and Services

Café Boardwalk may include links to third-party websites, applications, communities, social accounts, token pages, block explorers, launch pages, event pages, or other resources.

We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their content, security, availability, accuracy, or practices.

Using third-party services is your responsibility and may be subject to separate terms, policies, and risks.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Break or attempt to break Café Boardwalk
  • Access or use another user’s account without permission
  • Scrape, crawl, or automate access to Café Boardwalk in a way that burdens the service
  • Bypass security, rate limits, moderation tools, or access restrictions
  • Use Café Boardwalk to collect personal data without permission
  • Use Café Boardwalk to send spam, unsolicited promotions, phishing attempts, or malicious links
  • Buy, sell, or trade usernames, accounts, badges, access, or identifiers
  • Falsely suggest that your content is approved, sponsored, or endorsed by Café Boardwalk or Boardwalk
  • Interfere with other users’ ability to use Café Boardwalk
  • Help anyone else violate these terms

Search engines may crawl publicly available pages in accordance with normal search indexing practices.

10. Moderation and Enforcement

We may investigate potential violations of these terms.

We may remove content, lock threads, restrict posting, suspend users, close accounts, change permissions, or take other action when we believe it is appropriate.

We are not obligated to explain every moderation decision, but we aim to keep Café Boardwalk useful, safe, and focused.

11. Intellectual Property

Boardwalk names, logos, branding, designs, graphics, software, and related materials belong to their respective owners.

These terms do not give you ownership rights in Boardwalk intellectual property.

You may not use Boardwalk or Café Boardwalk branding in a way that falsely suggests endorsement, affiliation, sponsorship, or approval.

12. Feedback

You may share feedback, ideas, suggestions, or requests about Café Boardwalk, Boardwalk, or related products.

By sharing feedback, you allow Boardwalk to use it without restriction or compensation. Do not submit feedback that you consider confidential or proprietary.

13. Disclaimers

Café Boardwalk is provided “as is” and “as available.”

We do not guarantee that Café Boardwalk will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or available at all times.

We do not guarantee that content on Café Boardwalk is accurate, complete, current, or reliable.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Boardwalk and its service providers disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Boardwalk and its service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, funds, tokens, digital assets, or other losses arising from your use of Café Boardwalk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Boardwalk’s total liability for claims related to Café Boardwalk will not exceed $50.

15. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Boardwalk, its affiliates, service providers, team members, moderators, and representatives from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from:

  • Your use of Café Boardwalk
  • Your content
  • Your violation of these terms
  • Your violation of law
  • Your infringement of someone else’s rights
  • Activity through your account

16. Termination

You may stop using Café Boardwalk at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your access to Café Boardwalk at any time if we believe you violated these terms, created risk, or harmed Café Boardwalk or its users.

Sections that should reasonably survive termination will continue to apply, including sections about user content, intellectual property, feedback, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and disputes.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time.

When we make material changes, we may provide notice through Café Boardwalk, by email, or by another reasonable method.

Your continued use of Café Boardwalk after updated terms take effect means you accept the updated terms.
